Five pretty swatches aren't a color system.Get one that ships.
Start from your brand color, a logo or a mood. ColorComposer decides what’s background, text and button, and makes every pair pass contrast in light and dark.
Most generators hand you five swatches and leave the hard part to you: which one is the button, and can anyone read it. Scroll to see the fix.

How it works
From your brand color to a finished color system in three steps.
Start from what you have
Your brand color, a few hex values, a logo, or a mood: type “calm coffee” or pick one of ten.
Refine until it’s right
Lock what you like and press Space for the rest, or ask for more like this. Contrast stays solved the whole time.
Hand it over
Copy CSS, design tokens for Figma, a Tailwind theme, or COLORS.md for your AI coding tool.
What you get
Less guessing, less rework, a palette that holds up.
Every part of the tool exists to save you a step you would otherwise do by hand, or forget.
No contrast rework
Stop fixing contrast after the fact.
Body text gets 7:1, the accent 3:1, button labels 4.5:1. When a color misses, its lightness slides until it passes. Your brand color stays untouched for the logo. So nothing fails later, in a review or an audit.

Every palette comes with a dark version. It keeps your hues and solves every lightness again, so both themes pass and share the same tokens. You design once and get both.

Questions
Why not just use Coolors? It's free.
Coolors gives you five colors and leaves the rest to you. ColorComposer tells you which one is the button, fixes the contrast, builds the dark mode and hands it all to Figma. Use whichever saves you more time.
My client’s brand color fails contrast. Now what?
Keep it. Set it as accent or secondary, and wherever text or a button needs contrast, ColorComposer uses a lighter or darker shade of the same color. The original stays in the export for the logo and large areas.
Does it meet WCAG?
For color contrast, yes: body text reaches 7:1 (AAA), button labels and text on secondary 4.5:1 (AA), the accent 3:1. That covers the colors. It does not replace an accessibility check of your whole design.
How do I get it into Figma?
Export the design tokens (W3C format) and bring them in with a Figma variables importer or Style Dictionary. Light and dark are both in the file. Developers get the same names as CSS or a Tailwind theme.
What happens after the 10 free palettes?
Everything you made stays. Editing, fixes, variations, mockups, light and dark, CSS and the share link keep working. Only starting new palettes and the three hand-off formats need the full version, $7.99 once.
What counts as a palette?
Every time you press Generate, pick a variation, or start from a mood, a hex or a logo. Editing a color does not count.
How do I unlock it after paying?
You get a license key by email and on the receipt page. Paste it into the tool once. It works in up to three browsers.
Do you store my palettes?
No. There is no account. Palettes stay in your browser and in the links you copy. The site counts visits without cookies.
Why does it cost anything?
It is built and looked after by one designer. A one-time price keeps it free of ads, accounts and upsells.
Try it on your own brand color.
$7.99 once, and it's yours. If it doesn't earn its place in your workflow, you get a full refund within 14 days.
